6 groups of 2 persons were invited to Paris in order to create a level for the game Doom. With my co-worker, Thibault Catimel, we climbed to the 2nd place.

Create the best map in 10 hours
The map features 2 players, who clash against each other to get a maximum of points. They have to kill demons to score, and if they die, they lose some points.
They will have to choose between getting bonuses for themselves or destabilising the opponent by reducing his/her ammunition.

In the end, they enter the same room. Either they can kill the other player to diminish their score, or kill demons. Once the last boss is cleared, the player with the best score wins.
Description
Principle
Wireframe of the map. We use teleport to get the player where we want, from room to room.
The choice between reducing ammunition for the opponent or gaining more life.
At the spawn, players can observe the opponent, but depart in opposite directions.
A corridor where players can't get close to each other, but they can shoot each other when they are harrassed by demons.
The final room where players can really have a go at each other. Lots of demons spawn in order to get a maximum of points.
